Physical literacy, or alternatively, body literacy, refers to the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge, and understanding individuals develop to keep physical activity at an appropriate level throughout their lives.<\/p>\n

The LUDUS Project enables preschool-aged children to become physically literate by enhancing their attitudes, behaviors, and skills. Physical literacy\/body literacy demonstrates an individual’s physical competence, allowing them to engage in various physical activities and environments. Individuals with this literacy know and understand how to be physically active in various settings, leading them to engage in lifelong physical activity.<\/p>\n

The Sports Volunteers Association aims to instill this awareness in preschool-aged children through the LUDUS Project. LUDUS activities are designed to cultivate this awareness.
