Physical activity refers to all bodily movements that require energy expenditure and are produced by skeletal muscles. The LUDUS project includes activities aimed at increasing the physical activity of preschool-aged children. Research indicates that physical activity enhances cognitive development, improves mood, increases energy, strengthens bones and muscles, promotes good sleep, and enhances daily activity abilities. Those engaged in physical activity maintain weight control, preserve their health, and lead a quality life.

The goal with LUDUS is to achieve an ideal cycle of physical activity and prioritize it from early childhood. The ongoing dedicated efforts of the Sports Volunteers Association with LUDUS education for preschool children demonstrate that children feel happier and healthier as they engage in physical activities. Children participating in LUDUS activities have expressed enjoying their time and wanting to participate in these activities again.
